Allen Eskelin is a technology management consultant who advises clients on leveraging technology to transform their business.

Since 1991, Allen has provided leadership to business critical technology initiatives at several Fortune 500 companies, including Starbucks, Microsoft, and Gateway. For example, he led the Starbucks Card program and deployed the largest private retail network in the world (at the time) to over 3000 stores in 10 months.

Allen is the author of Technology Acquisition (Addison-Wesley Professional, 2001) and several articles with magazines like PM Network, .NET Magazine, and InformIT.

Allen currently holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Prior to his business career, Allen enjoyed a 17-year hockey career, achieving the semi-pro level (jr A tier II).

From 2003-2006, Allen served as Vice-Chairman of the board for Page Ahead, a children’s literacy non-profit organization.
